3. Summer Yearling Bulls - calved between May 1 and August 21, 2009    $18, 14, 12, 10

4. Junior Yearling Bulls - calved between January 1 and April 30, 2009             $18, 14, 12, 10

5. Senior Yearling Bulls - calved between September 1 and December 31, 2008             $18, 14, 12, 10

6. 2-Year-old Bulls - calved between January 1 and August 31, 2008    $18, 14, 12, 10

7. Champion Bull (first place Bulls and second place to Champion)             Rosette

8. Reserve Champion Bull Rosette

9. Two bulls owned by the exhibitor             $18, 14, 12, 10

10. Junior Heifer Calves - calved after April 1, 2010            $18, 14, 12, 10

23. Best 3 females - any age from above (must be 3/4 purebred) classes, owned by one exhibitor             $32, 28, 22, 16

24. Best 6 head - any age from above (must be 3/4 purebred) classes, owned by one exhibitor            $32, 28, 22, 16

25. Produce of Dam - two animals any age, either sex, the produce of one cow, need not be both owned by one exhibitor, each exhibitor limited to one entry             $32, 28, 22, 16

26. Champion Beef Udder - must be shown in Open Class, one per breed, per exhibitor Trophy - donated by Tim and Harold Crane

27. Champion Bull of all Breeds, one entry per exhibitor  Trophy

28. Premier Exhibitor Trophy - donated by Open Acres Farm, Joe Urbanick and Sons

29. Best Cow and Calf out of ALL BREEDS Trophy - donated by Ron and Sue Simpson

30. Champion Female over All Breeds Trophy - donated by Tim & Harold Crane

31. Master Showmanship and Master Fitting (ages 19 and up) One entry per exhibitor  Trophy - donated by Ron and Sue Simpson

Section 2

Open Class Steers

Market Steers

CLASSES:

1. Feeder Steer $18, 16, 14, 12

2. Medium weight (minimum 800 lbs.) $18, 16, 14, 12

3. Grand Champion (all breeds, market steers only) Rosette

Classes provided for the following breeds:

A. Angus  B. Belted Galloway  C. Charolais  L. Limousin  H. Hereford MA.  Maine Angue  Si. Simmental S. Shorthorn

* Beef Steers shall be free of infections and transmittable diseases.

* Shipping fever shots required. Inspections will be made unannounced.

 

Section 4

Good Housekeeping Awards

 

Livestock exhibitors who maintain the most attractive and sanitary exhibits will be eligible for special daily premiums.

All livestock exhibits will be scored on the following basis:

 

Points

Cleanliness of animals             15

Cleanliness of bedding             15

 

Entry card and ribbons won properly

displayed with animals             20

Keeping grain and hay feed presentable             10

Keeping all equipment sanitary and neat      10

Keeping aisles clean    15

Courtesy to people 15

TOTAL = 100

Prizes will be awarded on a daily basis.

Class 1: 1st $6 2nd $5 3rd $4
