REFER TO GENERAL RULES. Each Exhibitor Limited to two entries per class.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Senior Division - All other entries including college students
1. No article can compete in more than one entry; that is - an article can be judged but once.
2. All articles must be laundered and ironed.
3. Each exhibit to be judged on workmanship, worth of article, appropriateness of material and design.
4. Any needlework for sale MUST BE LABELED so by exhibitor after judging.
5. No responsibility assumed for exhibits after 10 p.m. Saturday.
6. All exhibits must be entered between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday of the Fair
7. No exhibits may be removed before 9 p.m. Saturday of the Fair
SEWING EXCELLENCE AWARD
This award is given by the family of the late Phyllis Camp.
The award is to be given to the sewing project judged Best in the Homemaking building.
There will be a plaque and a cash award of $100.
Mrs. Camp was an avid quilter and loved sewing. She enjoyed showing her projects at the Albion Fair. When she passed away May 13, 1995, her fair project was on her sewing machine.
BASIS FOR JUDGING HOUSEHOLD AND NEEDLEWORK EXHIBITS
PLAIN SEWING -
Lingerie or aprons to be judged on:
1. Worth of article
2. Material - its appropriateness, quality, color and design
3. Workmanship - method of construction, choice and execution of stitches.

DRESSMAKING -
Simple house dresses, shirt waist, or skirt, simple school dress for girl to be judged on:
1. Material - its appropriateness, quality, color and design
2. Design - simplicity of line, harmony of color, appropriateness
3. Workmanship - method of construction, choice and execution of stitches.
EMBROIDERY AND CROCHETING -
Simple design and edges for trimming to be judged on:
1. Worth of article
2. Design - simplicity and appropriateness
3. Workmanship
KNITTING - to be judged on:
1. Worth of article
2. Workmanship - execution of stitches, perfection
