Dixieland Jazz is a style of music that was created in the New Orleans area back in the early 1900s and is the “mother of all jazz.”

   Erie’s Parade Street Dixieland Jazz Band is the product of a group of Erie area professional musicians who love to play music Dixieland style and who are motivated to enhance Erie’s quality of life, musically, by creating a new and exciting, traditional style, 7 piece, Dixieland band; a band that takes no musical short cuts, but stays true to the New Orleans musical ensemble performance style.
